MNRE increases subsidy by around 23% for the new residential consumers willing to go Solar under subsidy scheme via National Solar Rooftop Portal

New beneficiaries can get additional CFA from Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 22,000/- approx

For Rooftop solar in the residential sector the central financial support has been increased upto Rs. 18000/KWp from previous Rs. 14,588/KWp for projects up to 3 KW and Rs. 9000/Kwp from Rs. 7,294/- for projects above 3 KW and up to 10 KW. New rates are applicable for all claims in the National Portal from the date of issue of Order i.e. 5.1.2024.



For the Resident Welfare Associations/Group Housing Societies, for common facilities up to 500 KW with a ceiling of 10KW per household, the ministry will give a grant of Rs 9,000 per KW for general states and Rs 10,000/KW for special states.
