RERC allows net metering till 30.06.2021

RERC grants extension of date on Net Metering related regulation at RERC from 31st March 2021 to 30 June 2021. The Commission proposes to issue finalised regulations in due course of time.

The strong representations were given by REAR and other industrial associations about the capacity enhancement up to atleast 200 KW for net metering and also to give sufficient time to ongoing projects to get completed.

RERC assures that they will do complete due diligence before deciding on the matter.
